Day 2 : (05/11/2024)
On my second day of teaching practice. Firstly , we met headmaster and he assigned classes and supervising high school teachers for us then signed in and marked attendance of the day. I started with an engaging session in Class 8F during the second period. I introduced Chapter 4, titled "Why Classification?" The students were incredibly energetic and filled with curiosity, asking questions and actively participating in the discussion. Their enthusiasm made the class lively, and I felt these interactions were truly valuable for my growth as a teacher.
Around 12:30 pm, it was time for lunch. I went to the mid-meal serving area and helped serve lunch to all the students. The school has over 500 students, including those in higher secondary classes, which made the experience both rewarding and enjoyable.
In the afternoon, I was assigned to Class 8C as part of a substitution during the seventh period. This experience gave me valuable insights into the diversity among students, with each displaying unique personalities and perspectives characteristic of their teenage years. It reminded me of the importance of adapting my teaching approach to meet the varied needs and interests within the classroom.
Overall, it was a productive and insightful day, adding further depth to my teaching journey.
