Day 2 - 30/07/2024

## Second Day of My School Internship

### July 30, 2024

Today marks the second day of my school internship, and it began at 9:30 am sharp. The morning air was fresh, and I felt a sense of excitement and anticipation as I walked into the school building.

My first class of the day was with the 10th graders, where I was tasked with teaching biology. As I entered the classroom, the students greeted me with curious and eager faces. I started the lesson by introducing the topic of cellular respiration. To make the session interactive, I incorporated a few visual aids and a short video explaining the process. The students were engaged and asked several insightful questions, which made me realize how much they were interested in understanding the subject deeply.

After a short break, it was time to teach the 10th grade students. This class was smaller, but the students were equally enthusiastic. We delved into the fascinating world of plant biology, focusing on photosynthesis. I used a simple experiment involving a plant and a light source to demonstrate how photosynthesis works. The students were thrilled to see the practical application of the theory they had learned. Their excitement was contagious, and it reminded me of why I chose to become a teacher in the first place.

Throughout the day, I made sure to take notes on my teaching methods and the students' reactions. This self-reflection helped me identify areas where I could improve, such as pacing my lessons better and incorporating more hands-on activities to keep the students engaged.

Overall, it was a rewarding day. I felt a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction seeing the students grasp complex biological concepts. As I left the school at the end of the day, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this opportunity to shape young minds and contribute to their education.

I look forward to tomorrow, eager to continue this journey and make a positive impact on my students' learning experience.
