Fourth Day of My School Internship

Today marked the fourth day of my school internship, and it began at 9:15 AM with the usual morning assembly. The assembly today was special, featuring the inauguration of a new initiative aimed at promoting reading among students. This event was organized by the Lions Club Gowreesapatton in association with Kerala Kaumudi newspaper.

The highlight of the assembly was the formal inauguration of daily newspapers being distributed to all classes in the school. It was a wonderful venture designed to encourage student readers and foster a habit of staying informed about current events. The excitement among the students and teachers was palpable, and I could sense that this initiative would be greatly beneficial for the students’ overall development.

After the assembly, we proceeded with our regular class sections. Today, I had the opportunity to teach Biology to the students of  10th grade. The students were attentive and engaged, which made the teaching experience very rewarding. We covered some interesting topics, and their enthusiasm and curiosity made the sessions enjoyable and productive.

Overall, it was a good day filled with learning and new experiences. The newspaper initiative was a significant highlight, and I look forward to seeing how it impacts the students' reading habits in the days to come.
