Day 5: 02/08/2024

Today marks the fifth day of my school internship, and it began amidst a backdrop of heavy rain. The downpour was relentless, adding a unique ambiance to the day. Despite the weather, the school was abuzz with energy and excitement.

A special event was scheduled today – the ORC (Our responsibility to Children) programme, organized by the Department of Education, Government of Kerala. This initiative aimed at benefiting secondary and higher secondary school students, providing them with valuable support for their educational journey. To improve mental health and avoid their problems associated with mental illness and wellbeing.

My teaching duty continue for 10th standard classes. The lessons continued seamlessly, and I found the experience to be incredibly engaging. The students were eager to learn, and their enthusiasm made the sessions particularly rewarding. Each interaction and lesson reinforced my passion for teaching and my commitment to making a difference in these young minds.

Despite the challenges posed by the weather, the day was a success. The ORC programme highlighted the importance of resource accessibility in education, and my involvement in teaching these bright students was both fulfilling and inspiring. As I reflect on today, I feel a renewed sense of purpose and excitement for the days to come in my internship journey.
