Day 9 -09/08/2024
Today was a fulfilling day at school, beginning with my arrival at 9 am. I promptly signed in at the headmaster's cabin and then made my way to the library. The morning prayer was held at 9:25 am, after which the regular classes commenced at 9:30 am.
The headmaster reviewed and signed off on my lesson plans, which allowed me to proceed confidently into the day's teaching. My first teaching session was with the 8th standard students, where I introduced them to Chapter 2, titled 'Cell Clusters.' This was their first session for the chapter, and it went smoothly across the second and third periods. The students were attentive, and I could see their curiosity piqued by the topic.
Lunch was at 12:30 pm, providing a much-needed break.
In the afternoon, I conducted the 5th period for the 9th standard, where I introduced Chapter 2, focusing on the digestion and transport of nutrients. The interaction with the students during this session was particularly engaging, especially during a whole-class discussion in the hall. Their enthusiasm and participation made the experience highly rewarding.
I signed out of the school at around 3:45 pm, feeling satisfied with how the day had unfolded. I lingered a bit longer, leaving the school around 4:30 pm, reflecting on the successful completion of the day's tasks.
Overall, it was a productive and gratifying day, marked by meaningful teaching moments and positive interactions with the students.
