Day 46 - 28/10/2024
I arrived at school at 9:00 am, signed in at the headmaster's office, and spent some time in the library hall preparing for the day. By 9:25 am, I attended the morning prayer, followed by the assembly at 9:30 am.
During the 3rd period, I taught Standard 10 using Lesson Plan 40, based on the Inductive Thinking Model as part of the Models of Teaching. The topic, Pathogenic and Non-Pathogenic Diseases, encouraged students to analyze patterns and derive generalizations, fostering critical thinking and deep engagement. This teaching model effectively supported the students in developing their reasoning skills and applying their knowledge to categorize diseases.
Lunch was at 12:30 pm, and in the afternoon, I managed several substitution periods, ensuring students remained engaged and focused.
Afternoon I took remedial teaching measures for standard 9 in the 5th and 6th period on the basis of diagnostic test analysis .
I signed out and left the school around 4:00 pm, reflecting on the fact that only two more days remain in my internship phase at this school. The day reminded me of how valuable these experiences have been for my teaching journey and professional growth.
