Day 47- 29/10/2024

I arrived at school at 9:00 am, signed in at the headmaster's office, and spent some time in the library preparing for the day. By 9:25 am, I attended the morning prayer, followed by the assembly at 9:30 am.

During the 3rd period, I taught Standard 9, delivering Lesson Plan 41 in biology using the inquiry training model as part of the Models of Teaching lessons. This model encouraged students to actively explore and analyse problems, fostering critical thinking and collaborative learning. The session was highly interactive, and the students engaged enthusiastically, making the lesson productive and insightful.

Lunch was at 12:30 pm, during which I served meals to the students and then had my lunch.

In the afternoon, I conducted an achievement test for Standard 8 during the 5th and 6th periods on the chapter "Let's Regain Our Fields." This test helped assess the students' understanding of the key concepts taught earlier and provided valuable insights into areas that needed reinforcement. Later, during the 7th period, I managed a substitution class for Standard 10.

I signed out at 3:45 pm and left the school at 4:00 pm, reflecting on a productive day that greatly enhanced both the students' learning and my professional growth.
