Day 49- 30/10/2024

I arrived at school at 9:00 am, signed in at the headmaster's office, and spent some time in the library hall preparing for the day. By 9:25 am, I attended the morning prayer, followed by the assembly at 9:30 am.

During the first two periods, I went to Standard 8 and discussed the achievement test questions and their answers. I distributed the answer sheets, allowing students to calculate their own marks. Many students eagerly asked if I could add marks for certain answers, showing their enthusiasm for performing well. After that, I distributed chocolates and gifts to students who scored A+ and A grades and handed out candies and laddus to everyone as reinforcement to encourage better performance in their next examinations.

Later, I visited the headmaster’s desk to announce the completion of my internship. The headmaster, who was also my supervising teacher from the school, kindly accepted a small gift as a taken of gratitude, and I sought his blessings for a bright career ahead. As part of concluding this phase of my internship, I distributed laddus and candies to all teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as the students, as a gesture of thanks for their cooperation and support throughout this journey.

After the lunch break at 12:30 pm, I conducted a lesson for Standard 10, completing the chapter. I also visited Standard 9 to express my heartfelt thanks for their encouragement and support throughout my teaching practice.

I signed out and left the school around 3:45 pm, reflecting on my last day as a teacher trainee at GGVHSS Pettah, a day filled with gratitude, reflection, and a deep appreciation for the learning and growth I experienced during this internship phase 1.
