Day 1 : Second Phase Teaching practise (04/11/2024)
On the morning of November 4, 2024, my second phase of teaching practice began at St. Joseph's HSS, Trivandrum. I arrived at the school punctually, bringing with me the valuable experiences from my first phase of internship. This time, I felt a sense of confidence mixed with the usual excitement, ready to embark on a new chapter of my teaching journey.
Upon entering the school, we went straight to the Headmaster's office to sign in, marking the official start of our day. After our brief introduction and warm welcome from the staff, a teacher from the social science department guided us to our assigned sitting area. This turned out to be the library hall - a comfortable, well-stocked space that would serve as our base for preparation and relaxation between classes.
Shortly after settling in, we attended the school assembly, which was filled with positive energy and a welcoming atmosphere. The students’ enthusiasm was contagious, and we felt eager to engage with them. My schedule for the day included an interactive session with the students of Class 8F during the fourth period, followed by a session with Class 9G in the fifth period. These interactions provided a great start to my teaching practice, allowing me to connect with the students right away.
I concluded my day around 4:0
30 pm, feeling grateful for a productive and positive beginning. The experience was enriching, and I am looking forward to the journey ahead, hoping for further learning and growth.
