DAY 18 _ 30/12/2024

The school internship phase 2 resumed on December 30, 2024, marking the beginning of another significant journey in my teaching career. It was an eventful day as I had to distribute the corrected answer sheets of the second terminal examination to the students. This task brought mixed feelings of anticipation and responsibility.

Today I Today I reached the school at the 9:15 a.m. and signed in at the headmasters desk and  then I went to library hard and settle the there.

Starting with 8F, I noticed a generally average performance among the students in their second terminal examination. The results revealed that many of them struggled to grasp the concepts taught during the term. Common mistakes included incomplete solutions, incorrect applications of Content knowledge, and carelessness errors. This indicated a lack of clarity and consistent practice among the students. I realized the urgent need to identify their learning gaps and provide remedial measures to help them improve. To motivate the students, I emphasized the importance of perseverance and regular practice, encouraging them to see this as an opportunity to learn and grow rather than as a failure.

Then I move on to serve mid day meals for students and then I took a break. The day was not much busy day as usual.

In the afternoon I continued with the two more substitution classes I managed class 7A ensuring students remined the engaged with their work and concluded the day with class 9g where I assisted them with their on going lessens then I left to the school at 3:45 p.m.

Overall, the day was a blend of celebration and introspection, driving me to strive for better outcomes in the upcoming weeks of this internship phase.
