Day 32 - 22/01/2025

Daily Reflection: Day 32 - 22/01/2024

Today’s teaching practice brought new learning experiences and interactions. I arrived at school at 9:15 am, signed in, and prepared for the day's sessions. Today had talent award giving ceremony at school on morning assembly. Followed by classes.

In the forenoon, I conducted a lesson for class 8A using the Concept Attainment Model to teach the concept of herbivores. This method encouraged students to actively analyze examples and non-examples, helping them grasp the concept effectively. Their engagement and curiosity made the session interactive and rewarding.

During the lunch break, I utilized the time to guide students of 8F by addressing their doubts and reinforcing key concepts. This informal discussion helped clarify their understanding and boost their confidence in the subject.

In the afternoon, I focused on remedial teaching strategies, ensuring that students who needed additional support could grasp the lessons more effectively. The rest of the day was spent managing substitution periods, ensuring productive learning sessions for students.

I left the school around 4:00 pm, reflecting on a meaningful day where I could implement innovative teaching methods and provide targeted academic support to students.
