Day 33 - 23/01/2025

Daily Reflection: Day 33 (23/01/2025)

Today was a memorable and enriching day in my teaching practice. I arrived at school at 9:15 am, signed in, and prepared for the day's sessions.

During the 4th period, I conducted a lesson for class 8F, which was observed by my supervising teacher. She provided encouraging feedback, appreciating my use of live flower specimens and a working model of pollen tube growth to explain the topic. Additionally, I demonstrated the structure of a flower and its pollen tube formation, integrating ICT tools and the blackboard effectively. She also praised my lesson plan and classroom activities, highlighting that Activity 1 and Activity 2 were well-structured. However, she advised me to present the content in a more logical and systematic manner to enhance clarity, which would be beneficial for my future teaching career. I felt immense gratitude for her guidance, and it was truly a wonderful and insightful session.

In the 6th period, I conducted another session for the same class, focusing on a detailed discussion about types of pollination and the fertilization process in plants. This session was also engaging, as students actively participated in discussions and asked thoughtful questions.

Overall, today was a beautiful and fulfilling day. The opportunity to receive constructive feedback and refine my teaching skills made it even more meaningful.
