Daily Reflection: Day 34 – Final Day of Teaching Practice (24/01/2024)

Today marked the final day of my teaching practice at St. Joseph's H.S.S. School , Palayam. I successfully taught two lessons today —Lesson Plan 29 and Lesson Plan 30 . Finally reached 30 lessons as completion of assigned teaching area.

In the 4th period, I taught Lesson Plan 29 using the IV model, which was an experiment-based lesson on the growth of the pollen tube for 8th-grade F division students. The session was engaging, and students actively participated in the experiment.

In the 6th period, I taught Lesson Plan 30 using the Inquiry Training Model, focusing on the topic anemia for class 8A. The lesson encouraged students to think critically and ask questions, making the session interactive and insightful.

With this, I successfully completed all 30 lesson plans in my second phase of teaching practice.

To express our gratitude, we distributed ladoo, sweets, and chai to all the teachers in the school. In return, the teachers and non-teaching staff surprised us with gifts and heartfelt greetings, wishing us success in our future teaching careers.

This experience marked the completion of my third school-based internship. My journey started with SMV School as part of school induction , followed by the first phase teaching practice at GGVHSS Pettah, and now ST. JOSEPH'S H.S.S. Palayam for the second phase teaching practise .Each school provided a unique and enriching teaching-learning experience.

Today was truly a memorable and rewarding conclusion to this phase of my teaching journey.Thank you for all the supporters.
